Halloween @ Zouk ( Samsung ST100 Review )

thanks to Samsung and Advertlets, i was lucky enough to be able to review the Samsung ST 100 @

however, the klutz that i am, i left the usb cable and charger with them. 

so i only used the camera once :D but it's okay, i managed to get a good feel of the camera.

the best feature of this camera to me is the dual screen, which sets it apart from the other camera models out there. the design is simple yet it stands out (again thanks to the dual screen!)

not only that, the dual screen is a great conversation starter too ! so you shyy boys out there, run along and get one cause i haven't met a girl who hasn't gone ' HEY LETS TAKE A PHOTO ' after noticing the dual screen :)

overall, the camera was pretty fun to use, and after you get used to the tricky camera modes you'll get pretty good shots (my shots were blurred but i was in zouk, so don't blame the camera blame the user heehee)

*clean wire by dipping it into conc. hydrochloric acid and burning it. dip the wire into more conc. HCL then into solid being tested. burnnn.
-Lithium/Calcium/Strontium : Red
-Sodium : Yellow
-Potassium : Lilac
-Barium : Green


#addition of acid; test for carbonates & hydrogencarbonates


-acid + solid group1 compound --test with limewater. positive for carbonate/hydrogencarbonate if bubbles appear/limewater turns cloudy.

i know i had that epiphany late last night.
but i woke up 4 hours later for prayers. 
starting to feel sick :/
i think the lack of sleep over the past few days has finally caught up to my body's lousy immune system haha.
7 days straight of prayers & mourning has drained me out. 
mentally and physically.


college, uni applications, exams urghh help me :(
missing a week of classes in high school is nothing. if you miss a week in college you're pretty much doomed.


after all the 'life is short, don't stress' quotes I've heard over the past week ; i'm guessing that doesn't apply to me.
and the best part? no alcohol for 100 days (something to do with mourning and stuff) . asfghjk


i'm gonna take things one day at the time.
& i need to find something/someone to look forward to !
i'm sorry for ranting here, cause if i don't some poor soul out there will have to listen to me complain and i don't like doing that haha.

As some of you know, my grandfather passed away last week, and my grandmother is extremely traditional so I've been away for a week doing prayers and all. probably be away for the next week as well doing the same, so no blogging for now because between running errands, prayer stuff and travelling i don't even have enough time to sleep. (i'll be tweeting though @waiyansays ) so left behind on work now :x

Moving on, ( doesn't feel right blogging about his personal life in depth )

i am COMPLETELY, UTTERLY determined to score during my a levels exams in January 2011.

i know to some of you, i'm the 'dumb one' in class. Well just because i didn't do well during the last exams doesn't mean i can't make up for lost time now right? 

if it means giving up my social life for a few months and burying myself in studies so be it !

i'd do anything to get into a good law school :)

hopefully the people in admissions department at all the universities i applied for will see that determination somehow through my personal statement, and give me an offer (: which i am in the midst of writing :) 

oh and if they are seeing this by any chance, i'm sorry i didn't have this epiphany before the first exams. sorry haha !

Hennessy Artistry @ MIECC

attended Hennessy Artistry at MIECC ! it was the BIGGEST Hennessy Artistry of the year so i HAD to be there ! hosted by Sarah Lian & Henry Golding, the duo did a fantastic job interacting with the crowd throughout the night. 

 Free flow of Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks were served all night.Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Citrus, and Hennessy Ginger. My favourite was Hennessy Apple !

Da Mouth, Deja Voodoo Spells, Foulworks & Eva-T, Kardinal Offishall, Da Mouth, DJ Alex Dreamz, Mizz Nina and Kardinal Offishall performed !

i went late as i had to sneak out of a wedding dinner first :D when i reached, i only managed to catch the last part of Mizz Nina's performance :'(

but when Kardinal Offishall performed, my friends and i managed to squeeze our way to THE FRONT of the stage ! as in, we were actually touching the stage :) !

and at one point, he pointed the mic at me but i COMPLETELY did not know the lyrics.

so i just screamed into the mike. malu ! 

it was one hell of a night, with great drinks, great company and performances that kept the mood up the entire night :)
