None of their Business

if you've been watching this space for quite some time, I'll be moving to another blog.
(no more dominating waiyan's space)

To everyone that's been going through a rough time preparing for exams, I totally wish you guys all the best!

So are you really studying? Let me ask you a biological question. How long does it take for the effects of oxytocins in the human body to wear off?

I'm just playing. But the question did took a couple of google (re)searches. In plain English, I was reflecting on relationships and the time for the 'excitement' period to wear off. I'm not saying a cynic came up with this one but researchers will also hate to admit that, our so called 'love' or 'feelings' world record is currently 4 years.

But I think you can beat that one. Don't ask me how.

I'm in quite a bleak mood this morning. Part of me needs to get out there and get things done. Took out my pen, 'Unfinished business' was the title of my list, written on a blank piece of recycled paper. But I'm always filling it with something irrelevant.

'watermelons, sunday'
'crowbar, pipe sealant: Friday'
'128'

except for the third one. I kept a digital copy of a book and the numbers represent one of the page that caught my eye.

It had so much to do with me, I can relate to every sentence.
And how it led me giving the wrong first impressions to people.
Its not a 'how to' book, saying that if you'll do whatever it says in a month your life will be perfect.

It had something to do with our desires to have better relationships with people around you. Not just in a romantic perspective.
And I think its way more important than any other subject you learn in school.
where you actually learned in kindergarten.

Thats it from me.
I'll see you soon

but before I leave, Just wanted to share one of my favourite pic. Maybe you've seen it before! (credits to Shaz)

Daily Randomness

Street Logos

Helllooooo Waiyan and Waiyan's blog readers!

Its been a while since I went back to my old passion. Early 2006, I head back home from the bookstore with a book by Tristan Manco that documents extraordinarily talented street artist. Back then I didn't really care what people think about street art, I'd always be on the writers/artist's side.

A junior friend of mine from Malaysia who's living in Taiwan had the same perspective on street art as I did. He knew I did a couple of graffiti stencils and stickers just for fun.

You'd be blind not to take notice of this blog's header. I'd traced the image of a person's face or logo and craft them nicely on paper or plastic.

And sometimes I still do. Keep in touch, who knows I might be putting up a tutorial on stencils and stickers up here for those who'd like to be in the same league as 'La-Mano','TIE','Wet shame', etc..etc..

KTM

Have I mention how crazy and life-threatening waiting for trains and commuters can be?
Nothing new, but its cheaper than paying for gas. I'm serious! And I'm getting the hang of it. Its not as bad the way most people look at it. If your lucky, your commuter shouldn't smell like salted fish. Like the one I took last week.

other than that, the only biological threat you've probably been warned recently about public transportation is, H1N1 is the 'in' thing...

'to Steph (if thats your real name) from the Bar a couple of weeks ago,I really had fun, and
I Appreciate your imaginary phone number.'

Normally for the 'standard' guys, there's always two things in mind when your out there at a party. your either drinking more than you can actually control yourself, or you pretend that your capable of getting every single woman's phone number in that room. (did I say 'pretend'?)

But I think getting shot down by a woman for a couple of times is actually more hilarious than i can ever imagine.

I came back home pretty excited one night. And when I tried hitting the digits. Either she IS the woman you keep hearing when you reached the voice mailbox,

or I just fished a fake phone number.

well they have every right to do so.

Nice guys exist. But there are more horny guys out there that makes it harder for 'us'.

ladies, what do YOU think?
